  • The Jon Schmidt Note-Reading Method found in the book "67 Fun Songs arranged by Jon Schmidt" is so clearly laid out that an adult can use it to teach themselves how to read music. This 10 week program takes all of the mystery out of note-reading and makes it seem amazingly simple. (for best results, right-click on this link to save this 3.9 MB file).

Note: Unlike the professional acoustic piano recordings found on Jon Schmidt’s albums, these are "demo" midi keyboard recordings of a lesser professional quality.

  • Jon Schmidt is perhaps one of the most relevant pianists of our time. This is a brilliant adaptation of Rachmaninoff. Another impressive work from The Piano Guys.

Al van der Beek, left, Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson and Paul Anderson make up The Piano Guys. The group received their first gold record at their concert on July 16.

Jon Schmidt is one of the best piano players of all time. If you've been to one of his concerts, you'll know that he also has a great sense of humor. I've had this album for years and don't listen to it as often as I should, but every time I do, it's a new experience; with the lively song "To the Summit" and "Game Day", the relaxing pieces of "Air On the F String" and "Sacred Ground", and the heart felt songs "I Do" and "Can't Help Falling in Love". I highly recommend this album to everyone interested in great piano pieces.
