Seymour Grossman died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson. He was 85. Our family is grateful for the wonderful care he received there, as well as your good wishes, prayers, and thoughts over the past few weeks. For those wishing to join us in celebrating his life, the arrangements are below.

Survivors include her six children, Theresa Seymour Setka of Indianapolis, Ind., Timothy Seymour of Nalcrest, Fla., Angie Seymour Weaver of Farmington, Minn., Rita Seymour of Orlando, Rhonda Seymour Gross of Arlington, S.D., and Jacklyn Seymour Mahaney of Chandler, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The bridegroom, 52, is a partner in Pomerantz Haudek Block Grossman & Gross, a Manhattan law firm. He graduated from Columbia and the New York University School of Law. He was until earlier this year the chairman of the board of Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a community development organization in Brooklyn. He is a son of the late Ethel Gross and the late Seymour Gross, who was an accountant in Manhattan.
